Employer terms

Last updated: June 2026

Employers remain responsible for lawful hiring decisions. AppliedHire provides decision-support signals, not automated hiring decisions.

Who these terms cover

These employer terms apply to companies, hiring teams, founders, operators, and authorized representatives that post roles or review candidates through AppliedHire.

Accurate job postings

Employers must post genuine roles with accurate compensation, location, sponsorship, engagement type, seniority, and work expectations. Misleading postings, fake roles, and bait-and-switch compensation are prohibited.

Lawful hiring obligations

Employers are responsible for complying with all employment, labor, anti-discrimination, privacy, wage, immigration, and accessibility laws that apply to their hiring process. AppliedHire does not replace legal review, HR review, or human hiring judgment.

Candidate information

Candidate profiles, applications, resumes, portfolio links, and fit signals may be used only to evaluate candidates for the role they applied to or were surfaced for. Employers may not scrape, resell, enrich, or use candidate data for unrelated outreach.

AI shortlist and fit-signal limits

AI-assisted shortlist rationale and fit signals are review prompts. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or sensitive to the data provided. Employers must not use these signals as the sole basis for selection, rejection, compensation, or adverse employment action.

Payments and optional support

Founding employers can post a controlled-launch role for free. Optional paid support, add-on, cancellation, and refund terms are shown before purchase and may vary by scope. Paid launch accounts must use valid payment information and keep billing contacts current.

Misuse and removal

AppliedHire may remove job posts, suspend accounts, or restrict access for discriminatory postings, spam, scams, harassment, impersonation, unlawful screening criteria, data misuse, or activity that harms candidate trust.
